AN UPDATE ON RECENT ADVANCES IN NANOEMULSION BASED HYDROGELS: NANOEMULGELS

The newly developed lipophilic drug molecules encounter problems like availability of less amount at the site action, unpredictable absorption, etc. To overcome these disadvantages, enhancement solubility and development novel formulation is a continuous process. Recent advances in technology had helped developing nanoparticulate topical delivery systems. Their characteristic properties such as nano droplet size i.e. 20-200nm, high interfacial area, transparent, translucent appearance, capability to freely solublise water, kinetic stability, sedimentation, flocculation coalescence created new era systems with increased applications. most advantageous thing about nanoemulsion that it can penetrate permeate skin membrane without incorporation permeation enhancer. Various studies revealed activity anti inflammatory fungal drugs have been preparations nanoemulsions nanoemulgels compared conventional emulsions emulgels. Nanoemulgels are based hydrogels prepared by adding hydrogel matrix. inability led nanoemugels which solublises oily phase emulsion followed addition this mixture into gel base.
